PDO Threadlifts
What is a PDO Threadlift?
A minimally invasive treatment that gives the skin a gentle lift and supple firmness all while stimulating the growth of new collagen.
PDO thread lifts are a minor and minimally invasive alternative to a facelift. PDO stands for Polydioxanone which is a special medical-grade thread that is thinner than a strand of hair and is made of protein. These dissolvable sutures are placed under the skin to give a gentle lift and firmness to the skin, all while stimulating the growth of new collagen. The results are immediate while also stimulating long-term collagen production. PDO threads are naturally broken down within the body over a period of 6-8 months, with beautiful results lasting up to 18 months,
PDO threads come in three main textures: Mono is a single smooth thread that provides a small lift. Cog is a barbed thread that lifts the tissue and encourages collagen. Screw is one or two intertwined threads that provide volume augmentation.
